H.E DR.AISHA BIN BISHR LAUNCHES SMART DUBAI CASE STUDY WITH THE PALLADIUM GROUP AT THE SHAPING THE FUTURE THROUGH POSITIVE IMPACT SUMMIT 2017

H.E Dr.Aisha bin Bishr, Director General, Smart Dubai Office, showcased the successes of Smart Dubai over the past three years in an international gathering of city leaders at the Shaping The Future Through Positive Impact Summit earlier this month. Organised by The Palladium Group, Shaping The Future Through Positive Impact Summit examined a new framework to effectively integrate social and economic value through identification, execution and measurement of the partnerships and strategies required to add lasting value to an organization. Formulating strategies and implementing solutions to endure social and economic benefits were key themes at the summit.

Speaking on Smart Dubai’s happiness-centric approach to smart city transformation, H.E Dr.Aisha bin Bishr commented, “Smart Dubai is our very own government strategy to innovating solutions that will continue to improve the lives of all people in Dubai by creating more efficient, seamless, safe and impactful city experiences for everyone.”

“The Palladium Group has been renowned to work with governments and corporations to implement solutions that help generate lasting social, environmental and financial benefits. Organizing an event such as the Shaping The Future Through Positive Impact Summit is testament to Palladium’s ongoing support to making the world a happier place.” Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr added.

During her keynote, Dr.Aisha discussed how a smart city uses innovative technologies to solve problems and improve city experiences, all in order to make the people of the city happier. Dr.Aisha also discussed the many initiatives and strategies that have been implemented by the Smart Dubai Office over the past three years and the benefits that have been reaped due to these smart implementations. Dr.Aisha then shared the strategy roadmap highlighting best practices for smart city implementation and also stressed the importance of an agile and collaborative approach to ensure a successful city transformation.

As part of her visit Dr.Aisha also launched a case study in partnership with The Palladium Group. The case study discussed how Smart Dubai’s smart city initiative is a great example of how the use of technology and coalitions involving the public and private sectors, and the broader society, can have a significant impact on the quality of life of a population. By focusing the city’s unified efforts towards its most valued asset – its people – Smart Dubai plays a pivotal role in guiding and enabling the city’s ongoing digital transformation to generate measurable positive impact on the happiness of Dubai’s citizens and visitors.
