Our Current State Analysis reviewed existing services, initiatives and networks to identifies opportunities for a smarter city

APPROACH

We gathered information on the current state of smart city readiness in Dubai through workshops and questionnaires with Strategic Partners.

All data collected underwent a collaborative analysis and validation in order to confirm current services and initiatives, identify challenges, and plan the next steps.

OUTCOME

Learnings from the Current State Analysis lead to a set of action items to ensure challenges were addressed and an aligned approach was enabled:

  • Forming a map of the city infrastructure, data, systems, applications and e-Services
  • Documenting the KPIs, supporting data, assumptions and current usage standards
  • Identifying a listing of findings, open issues and recognised opportunities
  • Providing a description of the overlaps among current and future plans between the various entities
  • Submitting quick fixes and recommendations for resolving the immediate issues
